Accessibility Statement – Investeam
At Investeam Holdings Ltd., we believe that the internet should be accessible and available to everyone. Our goal is to provide a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstances and abilities. To achieve this, we strive to adhere as closely as possible to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Level AA, based on Israeli Standard SI 5568.
These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. Adhering to these guidelines helps us ensure that the website is accessible to everyone, including people who are blind, motor-impaired, visually impaired, cognitively disabled, and more.
Website Accessibility and Assistive Technologies
This website follows the accessibility standards mentioned above and also employs various technologies aimed at enhancing accessibility at all times. We utilize an accessibility interface that allows users with specific disabilities – even without a screen reader – to tailor the site’s interface to their individual needs.
Screen Reader and Keyboard Navigation
Our website implements ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes and behavioral adaptations to ensure that blind users using screen readers can navigate, understand, and use all site functionalities. Upon entering the site, screen reader users can activate the “screen reader mode” via the Alt + 1 keyboard shortcut. Key adaptations include:
Screen Reader Optimization: We provide meaningful data to screen readers using ARIA attributes, including accurate form labels, actionable icon descriptions (e.g., social media icons, search, cart), form validation cues, and role designations (buttons, menus, dialogs, etc.). Background processes also scan all images to automatically generate meaningful ALT text via image object recognition and OCR.
Keyboard Navigation: Users can navigate using Tab, Shift+Tab, arrow keys, Esc to close pop-ups, Enter to activate links, and Space/Enter to select radio/checkboxes. Skip menus and quick navigation options are also available. Shortcuts include: “M” (menus), “H” (headings), “F” (forms), “B” (buttons), and “G” (graphics).
